I just spent some time rating about 50 movies. The process was soooo increeeeediiiiibly slooooooow. Have the developers actually sat down and used their ratings system? Try it. It takes AGES. My own recommendations:
1) get a faster server
2) let the users rate more than 8 movies per page. Try 80. We have a scrollwheel and we want to use it.
3) The default rating should be "not seen", not "a world of average (56%)". I have no idea if a film I've not seen is average.
Oh, and when recommending movies for users to watch, don't recommend movies they've already rated. That's cleary stupid.
