  • Re: playlists not working here...

Yeah, sorry, we are still here :) We've just restarted working on the clients after a (too) long break, during which we've been concentrating on the web site... There should be a release soon with much better recommendations on the client, as in within the next couple of weeks, followed by another...

  • Re: Linux and Amarok

Hi Sebastian Our client team is currently finishing-off our public API, which we will be publishing in the near future. Once this is out then anyone will be able to write a client for the platform and player of their choice. I run a couple of Linux boxes myself, and I'm hoping to see a healthy ecosystem...

  • point of no return

hi there, the problem i had is that, when you click "clear database" button in the application, you got a message like "Are you sure you want to delete the database? The Filter will need to rescan your library". until here everythings ok. but there's no button else "ok"...

  • Re: Attempting to install Filter triggers spyware

Thanks for this info. We have put in a formal request to be removed our client from their StopZilla blacklist. It's a little odd considering our previous client was verified as not spyware by a reputable online source. We will get this version verified as well once it comes out of test.

  • Re: Attempting to install Filter triggers spyware

Hi there, In order to improve your recommendations the Filter client uploads details of your music library (from locations you select) to our server, so we know what you own (i.e. like). It also, if enabled, uploads information whenever you play a track so we know what you're currently into. This...

  • Re: Recent Activity

The clients are meant to do send this information and the website is meant to show then in your recent activity. We found exactly the same problem this week and have now fixed it. A new version of the client which fixes this should be available by the end of the week. Your client should automatically...

  • Re: AppChecker.exe exception

Ok, have got around to looking at this now... (sorry for delay) Looks to me like applications running off a network server run in the "Local Intranet" zone, rather than "My Computer" zone. There are a couple of options that spring to mind, which I need to look into: Get application...

  • Re: the filter application popups

Hmm, will have a look at this... sounds like iTunes reacting oddly to COM calls. Thanks for the heads up, Westy

  • Re: AppChecker.exe exception

Hmm, this is a puzzler... the application is installed into your profile directory, and historically .NET has had problems with trust when dealing with network drives. Aren't roaming profiles generally copied to your C drive at login, and synced back to a server on logout? I'll try and do some...
